Sad news and something to make you happy

I regret to inform you all that the giveaway I had planned for today will have to wait until who knows when. I'm sorry. Some things happened to where I can't contact the sponsors I needed too. Now don't think that I'll never do another giveaway, because I WILL (just not now). And I will say I'm sorry to the sponsors I had lined up. I have no way of getting a hold of you. Hopefully you see this.

 With that I need to make you all happy, so here is a picture of the sunflower cake Addy made for Kansas Day, which was yesterday.  I got her to let me help just a teeny tiny bit by putting some of the chocolate chips on top. 

We had a ton of company for lunch Sunday afternoon. I happened to get home from church before she did. So, I got to add the little touch to the twinkies. By the way, we never EVER have twinkies in our house except for this Kansas Day cake.

The cake actually tasted really good.

Speaking of cake, do you like cake? You can vote on my poll at the right. If you were to have cake would it be chocolate, white, or something different?

My Memories Software Giveaway & Review

As most of you know, that is if you've looked around my blog, that I love to make cards. Anything to do with scrapbooks and paper is up my alley. It is a very long alley needless to say.  A couple weeks ago My Memories asked me if I would like to do a review and giveaway for My Memories Suite 2. I was very excited partly because doing giveaways is lots of fun and because I've never used a program like this before.

At first I wasn't sure what this software was going to be like. All I had to do was download the it on my computer and dig in. I didn't have to wait for it to come in the mail, which was really nice.

The first time I pulled the software up I totally forgot the time and was on there a lot longer than I had planned. Making pages and cards is so easy and you can make about anything you want. Even my younger brother and sister have had fun with it. In the end I like a lot more than I thought I would.

Giveaway...

This morning I saw that Cupcake Dictionary is doing a giveaway to name her Camera. So, of course, I'm going to enter it.

 

 If you could have any camera in the whole wide world (money is no object) what kind of camera would you get?   The newest Nikon on the block. 

What kind of photos are you most interested in taking, looking at, etc (macro, food, nature, portraits)?  macro and candids. 

Canon or Nikon?  can I say both? 

Which inspires you most: Sunny days or Rainy days?   today, it is raining and I love it! 

A normal summer day would find you:  working outside probably. Fridays I would be baking and Saturdays I would be at Farmers Market selling. 

One word to describe you:  crazy...probably. that's a question you should ask my family. :)

Blog Party!

I was looking at different websites and came across this blog party and decided to do it. You can go look it up if you want. 

The deal is you're suppose to answer 10 questions. So, that's what I'm going to do.

1) What are two songs that describe you? I have no idea. Someone else would have to answer that question.

2) What do you most fear?  Probably messing something up.

3) What color(s) dominate(s) your wardrobe?   demin, blue, brown, black. almost any color looks good on me, thankfully. 

4) How do you normally do you hair?    Ponytail and just hanging down. unless I have a ton of time, then I do something else.

5) Do you prefer milkshakes or smoothies?   Both. but fruit smoothies are tops!! 

6) Do you like the color pink?   usually, but not pale pink.

7) What is your favorite flower?  Roses and Daises!!!!!!! (and who doesn't like those)

8) How many states have you been to?  11 and my favorite is KANSAS!!!

9) What is your favorite thing about June?  The local homeschool conference, ice cream, and I do love summer.

10) Describe your "dream wedding location.   I don't have one at this moment. Because the guy I marry will probably want a say in that.  :)
