ReplyDeletehave your sister make them! :)

ReplyDeletehow exciting!!! I would LOVE to win some of your sweet cards. You do such a great job, and though I love to make cards myself, I have not been able to as of late due to circumstances beyond my control! :)
ReplyDeleteLet's see... my tip for card making/scrap-booking would probably be: When cutting out certain things on paper, moving the paper instead of the scissors when cutting an outline. It makes smoother edges and gives a nicer looking project!
Let me know if I explained it well enough to understand! :)
Blessings,
Miss Antoinette
I have no wise words to share because when it comes to making cards or scrapbooking or any of the creative arts, I'm as clumsy as a six-legged elephant. It's easier to let the computer make beautiful things for me. But... you make delightful cards and I'd be so happy to have a few of them. Thanks for doing this; you're great.
ReplyDeleteHi Susanna! I didn't know you had a website but am happy to find out. Your cards are very pretty and creative! I have been needing more cards lately and Rachael and I had a big card-making party together. I guess this would be my tip...don't be too picky about the way they end up or you will only get one made in an hour (at least that's how I do it!). So I just tell myself to make a lot even if they are similar. :) Keep up the great work and I hope your business goes well.
ReplyDeleteI find it very helpful to keep all of the homemade cards that I receive from other people so that I can use them for ideas. I'm very lacking in the creativity department but if I have a design in front of me I can copy it using different colors.

Okay, so something that has helped me is when designing a new card I place all the stuff on the card first before gluing it down. Usually I have to rearrange it a few times before I get it to look nice. Does that kinda make sense?
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE your cards and I am always on the look out for new ideas. Thanks so much for this giveaway.
My best is to have a card making party, you can easily glean off other people's ideas. Plus play some music and just enjoy the lovely fellowship.
